I had a consultation with Dr.Pupkova on 5/29/07.It is my 2nd attempt at this.Now I wait to see what Horizon BC of NJ will say.I am much more opptimistic now about having it done.I hope approval will be quick.Dr.Pupkova is now @ Barix Clinic in Langhorne,PA>I t seems like a great place.WLS is all they do there so u don't feel like a sideshow walking in there.So far the people I've met have been wonderful.

Dr.Pupkova is awesome.She & her staff are top notch.Anyone lucky enough to have her as their dr will be truely blessed.She has given me back myself.

Hey MeLinda, You will do sooooo fantastic and be soooooo happy!! Can't wait to follow your journey with you - we are so close together in surgery dates. You have waited a long time for this and will do so well! Remember to take each day one at a time - you will have good days and bad days, but they are all worth it in the end!! Disney goal acheived

Well I just got back from Disney.Had an amazing trip.We all got along most of the time.Rode just about every ride in all 4 parks plus the ones in Sea World.Walked what felt like a million miles.I am so grateful for wls.I never coulda kept the pace had it not been for surgery.I fit on all the rides & in my plane seat.Noone seemed to stare at "the fat" lady.I felt like I blended in for the 1st time in a long time.I did have 1 drink.Man did it hit me.Thankfully I did not get sick.I did have a bite here & there of some really yummy desserts but it really was a few bites & that made me proud because I knew before I woulda shoveled in alot of food & ALL the dessert & now it's so unimportant.It's been an incredible year!Can't wait to see where the next one takes me!:)

At 6 months out I weigh 286.7 my BP is 118/68,chloesterol is 127.I turn 40 on the 19th & I weigh less then when I hit 30 so I guess that's good.I need to get back to the gym it's a bill I can't afford right now but since I just started a 2nd job I hope to get back soon.I've been walking alot but it's not enough.I am so happy to be where I am but part of me is disappointed that my results aren't better.Crazy I know because never in my wildest dreams could I have done this much in so little time without the help of Dr Pupkova & RNY.I thank God everyday for giving me a chance at getting back to the me that's been trapped inside.

Twoderville!!!!!!

I have finally made it to Twoderville YAY ME!!!!!!As of this morning my weight is 298.3.I can finally say I weigh 2 something.It's been like 13 years since I weighed this much.I am so thankful to Dr.Pupkova for saving my life.This has been the best choice.Next stop Onderland.Have a great day!

It's hard to believe...

I still can't believe I am on the losers bench.As of today I am 71.6 pounds lighter than I was in September.I am amazed at how much food I bring home if I go out for dinner,yet also disgusted when I think that before wls I ate it all at one time plus an appetizer,beverage & sometimes dessert.I am so proud to be using this wonderful tool I have been given.It has been so worth every aggrevation I went through before surgery.
