Follow up day at Dr. Ferzli's! I weight in at 209.6 lbs.! That is (?) from my highest weight of 226, and completely naked in the hospital pre-surgery, 219.something. Dr. Ferzli applauded me, said braveo, gave me a hug, and told me "have a great summer." He said a fill is not necessary. I forgot to tell him about the pain in my chest and the mucus I occasionally am spitting up (maybe allergies?). Anyway, other than that chest/lung stuff, I feel great, energetic and exercising every day that I can. Thank you Dr. Ferzli and staff for all your encouragement and help!

Three weeks post op. I get very very hungry sometimes. Sometimes I am not hungry at all. It is very strange and confusing. I cannot get used to the drinking and eating at different times. Hard habit to break. Can't wait to get back to my regular exercise routine. I do circuit training at Ladies Workout Express. I know that once I get back into that, the weight will come off no matter what!

Had surgery 5/3/06. Lutheran Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY. My doctor is great, but the hospital really sucked! They actually NEVER GAVE ME a drink of clear liquids (water, juice, anything!) before I left the hospital.
