Well, talked with Drs. and being I did test positive for the gastro infection-even though all meds were finished I still have to wait 2 months to be retested to make sure it is completely gone so that def. holds up my surgery. They already have everything in they need to submit to my insurance and they are going to go ahead and do that but I still have to wait till the 7th of December to restest- then they will give me my date. Kinda depressing having to wait longer but I know it is for the best. Was wishing to have the WLS before Christmas but it doesn't look like that will happen so hopefully by New Years.

Just got back from my last pre-op clearance that I needed-Pulmonologist- He gave me the go ahead and now all I have to do is wait for all clearances to be sent in. This was probably the easiest one I had because he found nothing wrong to hold me back from WLS.

I have been reading on this sight for months now and figured I better join soon. I have already had most of my pre-op clearances done as of this date - have 1 more to go 10/16 with the pulmonologist- then hopefully I will here from Dr. Bono's office when they get all the reports in to make my appointment to come back in. They tell me my ins. co. is great and usually have no problems so we will see.
I never seen so many Drs. in my life as i have had to for the clearances for this but I am glad to have had them because along the way from Sept- Oct.- a few had found some things that had to be addressed before i could continue-( had no knowledge of these things before my visits!) I have already finished with all the pre-op clearances needed except for pulmonologist which is tomorrow-10/16/06- hopefully he gives me the go-ahead too.
I will try to update when ever i get a few minutes.
