Upper GI/ EGD with dilation

So I went to the doctor yesterday. Good news I lost 4 lbs in one week. Bad news I am not getting in enough liquids or food still feeling nauseous so my doctor said I had to get a upper GI just to check everything last week so this week I got my results. Everything has healed great but there is still some swelling around my new pouch which is causing a delay in fluids passing through my system, which cause my body to take forever to process food. So he ordered me to get a EGD with dilation, so they are gonna go in and widen the swollen area. Don't know what to expect but he did tell me it will give me instant relief that way I can go on with my diet. I just can't wait to be able to eat my favorite a Caesar salad with grilled chicken. And get enough nutrients from my foods so I can finally have the energy to hit the gym. Please pray for me. Thank you
