Hair loss at 9 months post rny

Hair has never been that important to me. I've had short cuts, bobs, weaves, worn wigs, etc. I started sheading a lot of hair about a month ago and decided to cut my hair to camouflage the hair loss. Tonight I'm standing looking in my bathroom mirror and notice several strands dangling so I decide to pull them out. Why did I do that? ! My hair started to come out by the hand fulls! Initially I started to freak out and tear up, but before a tear could fall I thought about all the benefits this surgery has given me. Temporarily losing some of my hair is worth the long term benefits of rny. If I continue to lose my hair I guess a trip to the wig shop is in my near future.
