It's official, i'm HUMAN again !

  Well yesterday was officially my turning point.  I went out in the morning with mom and dad (who are taking care of me) so that the housekeeper could get some work done and so that I could too.  We went to Panera (didnt' even bother me that all I had was an ice water because I brought my protein shake).   I got some work done and then we headed to the Dr's to get more protein drinks !
  Well.. only downfall of the day was that they dont "exchange" things you've bought (sure wish they told me that before).  Because I live an hour away from his office, I had bought a few of these and a few of those only to find out i got a bum steer and some of 'these and those" tasted horribly.   Well I could have let it piss me off for the day, or I could make the decision to move on as there's nothing i can do about it.  After the secretary reccomending that I "donate" them to the nutritionist who gives you one sample during the nutrition class.. I asked "does she have to pay for her samples ?" the girls said "NO'.. so why would I give them to her when I could first offer to my fellow patients..???  Anyway...   I got to feel a little bit like Santa.. going into the lobby asking anyone if they wanted the stuff ! One girl was so appreciative, it really made me feel like i'd done something good.
    Back home and a quick nap (actually i needed more, but kids coming home from school) and I felt good enough to sit at the table and paint with my kids ! 
   Llfe is getting easier (thank god) the pain from one incision in particular feels like they put the nerves on the outside of my skin, but I got all the steri strips off today and i'm hoping that will make things easier.
    chin up.... going to be sunny and in the 50s today............. what a nice change !
