Surgery Date

I received my surgery date --- July 6th. My preop is July 1 and my group meeting is July 2. It's 5 weeks from tomorrow. Thinking about it was quite overwhelming today. Am I doing the right thing? I need to get more proactive presurgery. I haven't been very good about getting in my 64 ounces of liquids. Haven't even thought about eating 5-6 small meals instead of 3 medium/large meals. I'm eating things I shouldn't be eating. I think I'm eating all the things that I won't be able to eat after surgery.... Bojangles, K of C, etc.

I'm going to start journaling everything I eat tomorrow. I'm not really sure how many proteins, calories, fat grams, etc. I should be eating. I guess i'll try and follow a Weight Watchers plan for the next five months. I need to start exercising as well. I want to be in better shape before my surgery so my journey will already have begun. I would love to be below 200 pounds by Thanksgiving.
