So far , so good. No problems at all yet. I am walking 2+ miles a day, getting my vitamins and protein in everyday, I've been back at work for over a week and as of this morning I weighed EXACTLY 300 lbs. As happy as I am with losing 25+ lbs since surgery AND no longer being classified as "morbidly obese", couldn't it have read 299.something? Heh, I know tomorrow I will be there, its just my first milestone so i can't wait..I have a picnic to go to this weekend. I am making my "famous" potato salad that everyone seems to love. No one wanted me to bring anything, but i would have felt funny if I didn't so I volunteered. I am still on nothing but liquids, but I am so tempted to bring some pureed food to eat there. Something like baked ricotta, mozzerella and sauce. Yesterday I tried cauliflower with feta and a bit of milk all pureed up. It was like mashed potatoes and tasted wonderful. I ate 4 bites over about 20 minutes, each about 1/3 teaspoon. I was feeling a heaviness in my chest, so I assumed I was full. It really helped because I have been really hungry lately. That is all I had and it really hit the spot. No issues at all. I am supposed to start pureed foods next Wednesday, but I really needed something. I will try to lay off until Wednesday (except, possibly, for this weekend), just in case. I really want to avoid problems. If anyone has any different advise, please let me know. I might post about this on the forum just in case.
