Have to wait longer....

Had my psych eval. Passed that and they cleared me as a candidate. Found out Aug. 1 my surgeon stopped accepting my medical group. I had a choice to stay with my PCP and get referred to another surgeon or to change my medical group that my surgeon accepts and get a new PCP. I was so lost didn't know what to do. I decided to change PCP, my surgeons office referred me to a PCP theyre familiar with. So now I have to wait til Sept 2 to get my new patient appointment and then they have to refer me to current surgeon. Was totally bummed about the entire thing because I was supposed to submit everything on tuesday Aug 12 to insurance for my approval for surgery. I chose to stay with my surgeon because I feel comfortable with him and his staff. I had already done the seminar and support group with them. I didn't want to get a new surgeon and not feel comfortable then be stuck. Only thing about my new medical group is now I need to see a cardiologist. Tomorrow I see the dietician. So only a few more steps. The PCP office said I can call everyday twice a day to see if anyone has cancelled so I can get in sooner. *crossing fingers*
