So I really do want to be well intentioned about this blogging deal.  I guess it's really hard to talk about my WL journey when it seems so far into the future.  I keep flopping back and forth on whether it is good that it's scheduled for when it is and being frustrated it's so far off.  5 months seems forever away and so much longer out then I had intended.  I know it is selfish and childlike to be this tantrum like about a few months.  I guess I'll just have to continue to work at it. 
The one thing I'm really having a hard time with is how my one friend is/isn't handling it.  She's very holistic in regards to health and I'm sure she is not thrilled upon hearing about my surgery.  I also have to say I could have told her about it in a different way (i emailed her).  But she hasn't responded to me about it at all.  It's hard because we've been friends for close to 25 years.  Oh well.  She loves me.  She'll come around.
