Just a thought

Apr 15, 2010

My family and I always celebrate everything around food and a great meal. You know like that on the movie "Soul Food".
I have always (joyfully) been the host, as my nerves are eased cooking and especially for large amounts of people. It is as relaxing to me a sitting on a lake and watching the sunlight on the ripples of water.  The teens in the neighborhood just know when dinner is done at my house, and I'd love to feed them too. I am truely big mamma. But not for long.  Well, what will they all do now? I just can't see myself cooking all of that stuff anytime soon. BUT..... I need some ideas for celebrating. In times past, I cooked, we ate, rubbed our bellys, watched a movie, and took a nap. With lots of laughter and talking all inbetween.
I know good foods will still be around, but I seriously want to think of new things to do with MYSELF in those times. Help a sister out......!!
