A big wow moment for me.

I have always loved singing. I dont think Im the best but I can hold a tune. unfortunately my self esteem and confidence went so downhill when the weight grew that I stopped.

Some of my fave gals on a pin up forum I go one suggested I take part in a burlsque show and sing. It has been about 10 years sing I last sang professionally and I was scared shitless. Not only had it been so long I never used to sing sober. Here I was having not drunk for 7 months about to perform. So I let some coke go flat, added some sailor jerry and lime and had a swig to take the edge off. I bought two dresses (one of which was 4inches off doing up 1 1/2 months prior to the show), bought some black glitter heels and got up and sung two sets. My knees were shaking so badly!!!!

I never would have done this without the surgery and support from friends. If you want to see pics Ive put a few in the photos folder

The girls in the show were all amazingly complimentary and a few even said I'd be doing burlesque soon......lets take things one step at a time for now!
