I just got home from my Endoscopy which was a total breeze. They called this morning, and said they are ahead of schedule to come in ASAP. So I was being wheeled out the doors at the time I was supposed to be having my procedure. There is some inflammation in the lining of my stomach, nothing serious. He took a biopsy and everything should be faxed to Oakland by Thursday or so. I will assume that early next week they will forward my packet for insurance approval. I asked my patient navigator approximately how long that takes, and she said about 5 business days to hear from insurance.So, I hope that my next entry will be when my surgery date is. If I am approved, I see the surgeon on more time and she gives me the date then!
