SURGEON CONSULT.

We went to the surgeon consult yesterday... the last step to complete.  Much to my dismay, I found out that the insurance company does not go by the starting weight, but the weight/BMI the day of the consult.  Mine is now below 40.  I have GERD and a few other things that I'm not sure the insurance company will consider.  Nonetheless, I have a surgery date, 1/19/15 - tentative.  They are going to try to get me in on 1/7/15.  I'm feeling down about this new "development" ie the BMI being low (38 something).  Will this ever happen?
