Time has arrived

Hey to any that visit and thanks for stopping by.  This is my first "blog" attempt so bear with me :)  

I started this jurney on Aug 9th, 2011 by attending a bariatric information meeting.  Learned alot and was ready to move foward with the process.   Because of my insurance, I met with my surgen first to see if I qualified for the WLS.  The next step was to send info to insurance for approal of a 3 month prerequirements  such as dietian classes, psch eval ect.  Once I had those all completed they would send in for final approval from the insurance.  It took less than 24 hrs to get the final OK back and surgery is scheduled for 12/23/11! 

That brings us to now, I had my final pre-op appt   wieghed in at 261.7(clothed w/shoes) and got my instructions for my pre-op diet for the next 2 weeks.  So that will start tomorrow and Im a little nervous about feeling hungery and being able to curb the urges to eat.  But I can do anything for just 2 weeks right?!?! 

This is short and Im not long on words so I will leave it done for now and will update more later.
