Well, it's almost 7 weeks down since surgery and I've lost about 22 lbs. since surgery.  Not bad for a cyster (PCOS).  I started working out this week and that should add to my scale victories.

Anyway, I'm definitely feelin' the hormones.  My bff, who I love and adore is so busy these days.  She has 2 jobs and two really active kids and while I know all of this and I totally understand it, I'm finding myself really irritated that she doesn't have time for ME!!!  Which is totally my hormones talking. 

I've also been a little irritable with the husband.  Since his motorcycle accident, he's been around all day and I don't have the amount of "alone time" that I'm used to.  I really like my alone time... While I love and adore him, I also kinda want him to go away so that I can have my quiet time. 

As for me, I'm definitely happier, less depressed, but I am still having some negative self talk. Yesterday I caught a glimpse of myself in a mirror and started up all of the old conversation about how disgusting I am, how I shouldn't even go out, etc.  I stopped it fairly quickly but I still believe it in so many ways.  Soooo glad I'm in therapy...

Anyway, that's my 7 week report.
