New to this Blogging thing

Nov 21, 2009

My daughters will be proud. I don't text but I actually blog. Forget the texting I'm out of my element enough with a blog (ha). This is my first day on the site. I'm really impressed with the way its set up and the people are so friendly. Well lets get some of my history behind this. I was banded July 10th 2009. It was at Overland Park Ks by Doc Ellison. It went well but I hemorrhaged and had to have some stitches inside. That hurt like heck about 6 wks. They were right at my rib cage. Now everything is fine though. September 29th 2009 I had my right hip replaced and will have to have surgery on my back coming up this next year. I was a hairdresser for 36 years and it took a toll on my body. Had to quit my job so I'm just a little lost right now. I know I have a purpose to fulfill and am just waiting on what that is supposed to be. My youngest daughter Ashley was banded  Oct 1st 2008. She has done great and has lost 80 lbs. Shes a senior at Evangel University in Springfield Missouri. My oldest daughter lives on base and goes to K-State working on a social service degree and her husband is in Iraq for the 5th time. My husband is retired from the military after 25 years and has been a correctional officer for the last 14 years.
