Family Time

I had a wonderful holiday weekend. Thanksgiving we had a family gathering at my sisters house. It was wonderful to have my youngest daughter home from Evangel in Springfield. I got to see neices and nephews I hadn't seen for a long time. Saturday my oldest daughter was home with my two grandsons and we all went to see the movie "Old Dogs". That was a great show then we went to the anchor to eat. Its funny, Mexican food used to be my favorite but after being banded it really doesn't thrill me. That is really strange for me. I used to be able to eat it everyday. Today we went to Newton so I could sing at church with a guy I grew up with. We went to a wonderful little restaurant called the "Bread Basket". I was able to eat there without getting stuck. That was a relief. I go in on Tuesday for another fill. I think I'm pretty close to my sweet spot.I was in mourning about the holidays since I was banded. It surprised me that I did that well and didn't feel deprived at all. Hope everybody else had a good holiday!
