Beginning on a new journey

Hello everyone,
I am scheduled to have my surgery on 08/17/10 and this has been something that I have waited for more than a year. I have had several medical setbacks because of my weight and also I am a cancer survivor that has alot of side effects from the chemo. I have been on a liquid diet for 5 days now and have lost a total of 11.6 lbs since then. I have cried alot because of frustration but I know that I can get through this because I have alot of support from my friends and family. I hope to meet alot of friends on here that have been where I am now. Great luck with your weight loss, here's to a new you and me!
