Hi my name is Wendy I live in Gananoque Ontario I am 39 years old. I am married to a wonderful man who I have been with for 25 years. Married 16. I have 2 kids. One boy 14 and a girl 9. I have been over weight all of my life. I was 10 pounds when I was born. I have been up and down with my weight over the years trying this diet and that diet. Nothing works for me. I looked into gastric bypass about 2 years ago and was turned down by Dr. Dent in Ottawa. Now I am waiting to go see him AGAIN! I am going to ask my Dr. to refer me to another Dr. in Toronto instead. I REALLY hope I get somewhere this time. I want this bad. I have read alot on here and I have also read "weight loss surgery for dummies" I know I still have alot to learn  but I just want the chance to become a healthy person for my family and for me.I have severe sleep apnea,osteoarthritis in both knees, under active thyroid and the list goes on. I hope to make some friends on here who have had surgery and some who are like me still WAITING. Hope to hear from you soon.
