My Journey

I'm extremely grateful for all the support from my friends, family, and co-workers. It hasn't been a very long journey since I began the WLS path. I've always been happy with my size, and tolerated the extra pounds very well.  It not until I've gotten into my 30's that its become a health issue. Coupled along with the lupus ( both forms), and the arthritis, the decision was made quickly its time for a change. The insurance part that I've read the horrible stories and struggles, I can say paperwork was submitted by my docs office on Wednesday and I got the call to schedule my surgery that Friday. I can truly say this is an exciting time, and can't wait for the new venture and paths that open up along the way. Surgery is January 24,2013! Excited to say the least.
