Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.
I have always been a larger woman, even as a child. My weight never really bothered me as I always had a shape with it and my confidence level was always high. I had considered bariatric surgery about 13yrs ago after I had my daughter but got scared and decided against it. I went on living my life the way I always had been...as a plus size woman. I thought that was how it was going to be and that was the end of that. I tried diets...to many to name. So I found out i had 2 severe hernia's which have part of my intestine inside so now I have to have that removed but general surgeon said I need to loose the weight or else it may re occur. So now we are back to the weight loss surgery. this time Im older and have a better understanding of the surgery...
