I can't believe that it's already 6 months!!

Well, I haven't been here in a while....here I am and it is now 6 months since my RNY surgery.  I had my six month surgeon appointment yesterday and I am down 80lbs since surgery and a total of, Drum Roll Please, 100lbs!!!!!!!
I am so very thankful for this whole process!  The Doctors, practitioners, dietitions, councilors, you name them I thank them!
I am also so very proud of myself for sticking with it and for taking care of ME, for a change!
My A1C is down to almost 5.0 and all of my other blood work is incredible!  I can sit in any seat, I can even cross my legs, walk up steep hills......leap tall buildings(LOL)   I feel GREAT  PRAISE GOD!
I was in Khol's department store today and tried on a pair of Gloria Vanderbelt jeans........I looked at myself in the full length mirror and bagan to cry...happy tears...I look marvelous, simply marvelous......and the jeans are a size 16 down from a 24-26...and on sale with a coupon to boot!!!!!  I will try to post a pic tomorrow!  I don't know what else to say, Look out world, Cheryl is finally taking her life back................To all of you who are thinking about this surgery, do your homework, it's the hardest thing but the most rewarding thing that I've ever done for myself and you can do it too!!
