My Story

Hello all!  My story starts here.  I am 43 years old.  Mother of 3 kids and 3 cats.  I got married when I was 18 (much to my parents disgust...guy not good enough...)  still married to the same man 25 years later.  I have been over weight for as long as I can remember.  My parents in my teen years took me to be body wrapped.  Boy was that an experience!  I had one of those fathers who said all the time when I was growing up that I would never amount to anything.  So I guess I turned to food for comfort. 

I can remember wearing a size 36 waist levis when I was 18...boy for me - those were the days. 

I had my last childs in the year in 2000 and weighed 300 pounds then.  Wish I had used that as my wake up call...now 2007- I weigh over 400...

I just woutld like to prove to myself that I can do this and be around for my kids graduation.  I don't like to embarrass them.  My 7 year old just started a new school this year because we moved and there is a boy there who is always telling her that her mom is fat!
She is upset when she comes home and tell me.  This is something that I must do for me...and for my family.  My husband tell me that I am sexy to him- just wait baby! 


Diagnosed with sleep apnea in 2006- back pain as long as I can remember!   Cholesterol- diabetes- need I go on...on yeah- can't forget the depression!  that one got me in 2005- my mother killed herself after being in a nursing home for 10 years.  she made me and my 2 sisters (evil twins) promise never to put her in there and what did they do???  then they preceeded to "kill" my dad...long story short.  I am on my own and far AWAY from them!
