Might be going to Canada for the DS

Yep, might have to go there.  With my complications and abdominal surgeries, I may have to go to the best, and he's in Canada.  First I will have to see if my current surgeon will say the DS can be done.  If he insists on only the RNY, I will have to go to Canada to the 1st surgeon I was speaking to over a year ago with.  I was waiting for him to come to NYC, but for whatever reason, he has relocated to Canada.  He knows my detailed history and says that I most certainly can have the DS done.

Another little fork in the road.  What else is new in my life.  I think it's just another way of being tested as to how much I really want this surgery and what I will do to get it done.

He said target early aug for the surgery after the phone consult early next week.  I can't wait.
