I saw my surgeon for my 6 month check-up this morning. I have lost 102 pounds and all my labs came back perfect. He said I was doing all the right stuff and to continue with what I'm doing. He was so proud of my progress that he asked me to be part of a presentation at my support group meeting in August. He and his staff saw my before and after pictures and were very impressed. In August our support group will be having a Hawaiian Luau and discuss before and after results. They want to show my before and after pic to everyone in attendance. When I asked how many people will be there, she said it could be 50 to 100 people. Maybe more. On the web, I don't seem so shy, but in real life I'm really very shy. But nonetheless, I said yes. I'm excited and scared at the same time.
