11 days post op VSG

So I did too much this weekend and am still recuperating. Decided again (!) that I have to make this new routine and process (me) top priority. I learned I need to say "yes" when offered help and "no" when asked for help - at least sometimes! And I didn't realize I would need to work up to the 3 milks and 3 meals a day that my program gave me. It's been a struggle. I finally programmed my phone with different alarms for the various times I am supposed to drink milk, eat a meal, and have water. Really glad I don't have to go to work for a few weeks!

My son is going out of town this weekend to visit his brother, and I soooo want to go along. However, I decided I am having enough trouble in an environment I can control to stick with the program. It would be even more difficult at my son's house. So home I am staying!

OAN, does anyone know of a good daily devotional or bible study that focuses on bariatric 'makeovers'? I would really appreciate hearing about them if possible.

That's it for today!

Kim
