Finally, a blog

I am new to this.  I've been reading posts since I signed up but haven't blogged or done much else cause I'm trying to figure it all out!
Anyone with tips, let me know!!! LOL
My surgery is on the 28th.  My insurance company will not cover it and I'm bummed but plan to go ahead anyway.  I feel guilty about spending that money  but I just feel like it is MY time and I have to keep going.
I've been on my liquid diet since the 14th.  Its going well.  I do think about wanting certain things (not even fattening things!)and am kind of grieving for them since I wont be able to have them for a long while after surgery.  But I'm trying to keep my eye on the end results.
