Down to the wire

I am just a little over 2 weeks till my surgery and I am excited.  I am having the sleeve done.  I have 2 cousins that had the gastric bypass and I have talked with them about their experiences.  A gentlemen in our church, last year, had the sleeve done and he lost a lot of weight, but it wasn't really fast like my cousins.  My youth pastor and his wife and going thru this with me.  They should of had their surgeries already, but Katie is a diabetic, no insulin, and is having trouble keeping her sugar down.  She had been told that she might have to have insulin but no one has done that so far. 

I could use any help/advice that you have to offer.  I am eager to hear from anyone and to learn for you.
