Busy busy busy...

So yea today was type ka-ra-zee! I took all four of my children to the dentist! What was I thinking? I gather I certainly wasn't thinking. When I made the appointment the receptionist made it sound as if it wasn't really a big deal, although she did mention it wasn't something that they normally like to do. Hmm, should have caught on right there...Don't do it! Never again I tell ya! On top of that, she had the appointments quite discombobulated. We were there from 9:40am until 2:15pm!!!

Found out my 13yo needs braces, my 15yo needs all of his wisdom teeth extracted and he has an extra tooth under his gums that will never do anything and may need to be removed. Peculiar right? Yea I thought the same until I saw the xray., My 4yo has 4 cavities in the very back...huh...what?! I had to be lectured by the dentist until I explained to her how resistant my daughter is when it is time to brush her teeth and getting to the back is like me drawing water from a rock (however the saying goes...lol). Quite impossible at times! I felt like she was looking at me like a "bad" mother...lol, if she only knew. After I spoke to her she changed her tune. So lil mama has to get those teeth filled and she needs to be sedated. Although they are only baby teeth, she won't lose them until she is about 13 and the decay will only get worse. The only one who had no issues whatsoever was my 6yo, the one who eats the most candy & sweets! Go figure!

So this weekend I'm having a another yard sale event, "Yard Sale Blowout". Well that's what I'm calling it. I hope it's catchy enough to draw in the people. Praying for that...real hard. The children and I also handed out fliers today. I'll be handing out some more tomorrow. Yea I've been making fliers, posting on Craig's List and in our local newspaper. This will be the 4th one I've done. Last weekend was the first weekend I didn't set up. Met some really nice people who said they will be there. It's seems very promising.

I still need some more funds and I really don't want to have to depend on anyone. The yard sale has been very lucrative and I actually had all of the funds that I needed and then some but I've spent it all on doctor's fees for the children and  for that unexpected dental surgery that I had last week. I also made a payment to my surgeon for a past due bill that they wanted cleared up before surgery. Glad that was done.

My mom wants to be helpful but she's got her own expenses and her & dad are on a fixed income. I can't be that selfish. I'm doing this for me so I will find a way. God will find a way, He always does even when there is no way.

Countdown: 19 days to go until my big day!
