It has been quite a ride.

I've lost 136 lbs. and have maintained for over 5 months.

I've also been touched by breast cancer a few months ago and had heart surgery this year. I ended up with a bilateral mastectomy and adjuvent therapy is scheduled, we don't have a clear plan yet. There was micromets in the sentinal node.

I don't regret for one second having VSG. It enabled me to find the breast lump and probably saved my life.

VSG made it all possible, and it uncovered some life threatening illnesses that I'm taking care of.
