Ironman

I was reminded of membership on this site by an anniversary congratulation message.  I at least wanted to come back and say, "You can do it!"

I went on to complete marathons, triathlons, and ultra marathons to include an Iron Distance Event in North Carolina last October.  I won't say the journey was easy.  It was painful and I still struggle with eating the right foods and not overeating at times. 

Many doors that were closed to me in my obese physical state are now opened again.  I am thankful and do not take that for granted.  My journey is not over.
