New to this...

So I am new to this site and pretty much seeking support.  I have always tried to manage everything for everyone BUT myself, LOL.  I guess that is part of what got me to this point!  I am waiting for approval from my insurance company and have been given a tenative surgery date of 7/26/10.  I am having the Gastric Bypass.  I am nervous but excited to.  There was so much to be done to complete the process up to this point that I have become anxious but now that it is only about a month away I am getting nervous....in a good way.
Any support or reassurance would be great from those of you who have felt this way too and can help me out with the unknown that lies ahead I would be glad to here from.
