Stricture

like I said last post, I got really sick. I couldn't eat or drink.  I got so weak, I passed out in the kitchen.

DH called surgeon's emergency line and doc said to report to his office at 8am next day.  So we did and I was admitted in to hospital for fluids and an EGD.  I had a structure, they repaired it.

Feel soooo much better.  I return next Monday b/c they have to dilate it more.

Funny, my labs were fine.  In fact, they were wonderful, so doc didn't think I would  have actually had a stricture... Well, I fooled him.  My temp was 101.5.  After the EGD, they scrapped my throat so badly that I am completely swollen on the right side of my neck. 

Minor set back.. back to full liquids for a week.  Guess, it could be worse, eh?

I just got home, so I am going to spend time with my son.
