The Update

Okay, so I'm unsure as to where to start this, the last few weeks have been kinda blurry.  So back on the 16th, I had been having problems for days and finallly called the surgeon.  Landed in the ER for fluids, anti-nausea, and pain meds, with an upper GI the next day.  The upper GI showed narrowing, but nothing he felt needed dilation.  So they started me on Reglan on the 17th.  I had an appointment with my dietician 22nd, and she took one look at me and decided that she would talk to the surgeon before she came into work the following morning (it was a 6:30pm appointment).  Sure enough, he called bright and early the 23rd, and had me admitted back to the hospital for a day of fluids, anti-nausea, and pain meds followed by an endoscopy and CT.  They showed the same as the upper GI, nothing "fixable" and basically it's just gonna be a rough road for a while, and he'll medicate me through it if need be.  It's been several days, and I'm feeling a little better each day, but I've had this experience several times before, and it's followed by a big crash, so I'm trying not to do too much.  I'm exhuasted all the time, and I'm letting myself nap if I feel I need it.  Spent the rest of my severance pay on an XBOX with Kinect, so I've been having fun with that the last day...it's a workout!  I felt bad cuz I wasn't gym worthy, and he won't clear me for gym yet, but after yesterday afternoon on the Kinect I don't feel so bad.  Maybe I'll even learn to dance...LMAO

So all that said, I haven't lost but a tenth of a pound...that was at my appointment on the 22nd.  However, a few days later that TOTM arrived so now I know why I was feeling bloated.  First one since surgery, and it's been going on more than a week now...ugh.  Feeling drained in so many ways.  

I see the surgeon again on the 8th, so that'll probably be my next weight update.  I will get pics up at some point this week, although nothing has changed really.
