wow. what can i say? i seriously love my surgeon. that was the easiest process i've ever had to endure. after reading the numerous painful posts about the rny, i became skeptical. i didn't cry until i was given the IV before they wheeled me in. one minute later i got the 'relax' juice and my tears went away. i woke up in my room and was in a daze until late that evening. no pain, no drama, no shit. it was a little 'rough' to get out of bed, but nothing that i couldn't endure. my only problem was peeing. they wouldn't release me until i peed. i tried and tried and tried and tried. 8 times i tried...and on the 8th time, i did. i was so happy i came out of my room to announce it. i was in on a monday and released on wed at 12:30pm. my pain never got above a 2.i'm home and moving and happy and energetic! pain again, at a minimum. thanks to dr. sherman yu for being a total badass!! i want everyone to have the same experience as me. i should have done this eons ago. now only if the scale was moving a little more....oh well, we can't have everything!
