7 Months out

Apr 03, 2010

so I'm reminded that I may need to fill this in so that later I can look back and see where I was/am.  I still don't have 'hunger' very often.  Once in awhile I feel something like hunger but I think it may be head hunger still or even the need for liquid.  I've gotten so much better at chewing.  I get my vitamins and protein in which is the most important.  My levels at my 6 month appointment were right on target.  I have found myself lacking in exercise lately due to (insert excuse here.. work, tired, son etc).  Must find a way to get my daily exercise in.. I will see about doing mornings instead and see how that works.

I'm currently in a 16/18 clothes and I have a lot more energy.  Why did I not do this years ago?  Was it fear of failure was it 'giving' in was it... list reasons why here.  But.. it has been done and I'm so happy.  I cannot believe the new me that is emerging.  one who is not trying to find the 'widest' path,  not worrying about what chair to sit in, not worrying about people seeing what food I have in my shopping cart.  :-)

I eat better,  I feel better.  Yes I still have something SF and Sweet.  Yes I've had crackers and cheese,  Yes I've tried bread, rice and pasta.  But.. I have found that veggies are actually good.  Bread is usually to doughy and my taste for it is not what it used to be.  So many things to be happy about.  So many things to be excited about.

Thank you to my support group, my doctors and mostly my family for all their help.  Yeah for 7 months
