vbg out... vsg in...

Going to my final appointment before surgery with my surgeon today, i brought up the possibility of going for the sleeve instead of the vbg. And he is happy to do it. Only i have to go through the entire process again which means that i am not getting surgery on wednesday. This is devestating as i ws so looking forward to it, but it is also a blessing in diguise. Now i am going in for lap surgery. Also with the vbg open surgery i was told today that the resgitrar that said my gall bladder can be removed at the same time was wrong and that with open vbg my gall bladder can not be removed. But now that i am getting the lap vsg there is no problems removing my gall bladder.
Anyway, now it is looking like the end of may that i will be getting my surgery, yes the wait sucks, but i think that getting the sleeve over the vbg is worth the extra 2.5-3 month wait. Whilst i am waiting i can try to lose weight and become more active.
I know the sleeve is the right decision for me, and at least now i dont feel like i am getting a second class surgery. I feel like i am getting the best surgery for me.
