Wow... looking back

Dec 22, 2009

It's been a while. I am about 2 1/2 years post op now, and still maintaining around 155, up and down 1 or 2 pounds, and content with that. I'll have to say  that the holidays are tricky, with all the cooking and baking and all, but I feel like I've done pretty good, and we're almost to a new year. I still feel great, run to death, but able to keep up now. Still wearing my daughter's clothes, and enjoying the attention my husband gives. I just decided to sign on today, and read over my past blogs.... Sure does bring back some memories, some good and some bad. I still believe that this is the best thing I could have done for me, and would do it all over again in a heartbeat. I had the opportunity to speak at one of our seminars a few months ago. It was nice to be the individual up front, that was the "motivational speaker" for this surgery. I was amazed at how supportive and accepting everyone was, and how many questions there were, for me, about my journey. It was nice & I was glad they asked me to do it. Never thought in a million years that I'd be that one others were seeking weightloss advice and encouragement from..... Anyway, I hope that everyone that reads this will have a Wonderful Merry Christmas and a Blessed and Happy New Year, and that all your dreams will come true. Life is good, and attainable, we just need a little help sometimes. Hugs to all!!! Stephanie
