Countdown to my pre-op diet

Well my pre- op diet starts on 1/24/13. I am a bundle of nerves and full of excitement. I have read over the pre-op diet list my surgeon has given me a million times.  I have dreams about starting the diet, my surgery and even the post op period.  Don't get me wrong, I'm not crazy or obsessive at all.  I am just looking forward to finally having a tool that will help me have a healthier life. I am looking forward to running around the track with my son and not having to stop because my knees hurt. I can't wait to go swimming with my husband in a bathing suit, not in a big tee shirt and knee shorts. 

I know this surgery is not an easy fix at all.  I am motivated this time to do that work, because I am confident with this tool it will finally pay off.
