Well.. I made it thru the pre-op diet!!! Successsssss.  Not sure if I lost any weight, I haven't weighed myself in a week (didn't want to become obsessive).  So will find out in the morning.  It is very true that after day 3 it gets easier... but it was still sucky.  I would catch myself day dream about what goodness I was going to eat for dinner, then realize duh.. you are having chicken broth...lol   It was hard but definitely do-able.  I did my pre-op lab work today and it took forever for the nurse to draw blood, she told me it was likely because I was a little dehydrated, so load up on the water.  I was downing the water all day, so hope they don't run into that issue tomorrow(well today) with the IV.  Other than that everything has really been ok.  Well I am about to hit the hay.  Surgery is in 10 hrs.  Can't Wait!!!  New me here I come....
