So here I am on the brink of 100 days with my band. I have to say that it has been quite a journey so far!

SV : I reached my goal of 35 pounds lost 2 weeks early (goal was set for March 15, achieved Mar 1). I think my 1 cc fill this past Thursday really kicked that into overdrive.

NSV: My mile run is down to 13 minutes (from 22 minutes in October) so I have shaved about 9 minutes from my run. I run like crazy now and even did step aerobics class on the base last week for the 1st time since before surgery. Step aerobics is SO much easier when you are 35 pounds lighter!

NSV : I bought my first pair of new work pants and a skirt (all size 14) which is down from 18/20W. I also bought a pair of size 14 Gap Long and Lean jeans (used to be my favorite until I couldn't fit in them anymore).  No more Lane Bryant or plus size Baby Phat for me. Im able to shop at boutiques again.

I am seeing a therapist every 2 weeks to deal with issues so I don't seek comfort from food. She is also helping me rebuild my self esteem. She is also helping me deal with the emotions of my changing appearance and helping me realize that just because outer me is changing, I am still the same person inside, for better or for worse. While my emotions have been topsy turvy due to TOM and just general hormonal changes from the weight loss, I have been happier now than ever before. I know though that there is no way I could have gone through these changes so far without the professional support of a therapist.

Just wanted to share my 100 days with you all and thank you all again for your support. You all helped me when I was first starting out and I appreciate your patience with my endless questions.   Special thanks to Deb, Jean, Lori, Tiffany, Carol and Elena for encouragement and great information.

Hugs,
Me
