Still waiting for that no....

It's been 2 weeks since my surgeon's insurance co-ordinator sent off all my paperwork. She said it usually takes a week and a half for an answer, but since she told me that it'll probably be longer. Looks like she's right! I was going through all my medical records from my previous PCP (that I had to fight for by the way) and buried deep within was the requirement list my insurance company needed from my PCP. One requirement was the letter of medical necessity MUST (underlined) be on office letterhead. Guess what? It wasn't!!! What Dr.'s office doesn't put a letter on office letterhead?!! Too late now. It's already sent AND my old PCP's office is no longer in business. I really feel that the office manager purposely sabatoged me. A whole year to complete the paperwork that I had to fight for, and what they did was half-assed. Apparently I wasn't the only one. I spoke with the new doctor that had taken over the practice and he told me that it was left in such a mess that he's closing down, and has decided to work for an Urgent Care!! I really hope all that I've done in the past 2 years hasn't been in vain and I will be approved, but it doesn't look good. Try, try again!
