Hello all,I have to say it was a wonderful feeling to sit down to holiday meal with my family, to enjoy my "feast" on a saucer. Great to sit there and know that I would be full in no time and no feelings of my britches being TOO tight after I eagerly consumed my dinner. The family that had not yet seen me after the surgery, were amazed at the progress I had already made! Felt so incredible to be able to feel completely satisfied without engorging myself on what had been cooked all day.
I came to the dinner armed and loaded for bear! Complete with my Sugar Free sweet potato casserole which was loved by all, even those that don't do the Sugar Free cuisine. Feels great to be able to get thru one of the toughest holidays, now I KNOW that the Christmas goodies that await me, will be defeated as well!
I am now 60 days post-op to be closer to my original goal of 60 lbs by Christmas. I had lost 45 lbs by 11/23/09 with another 5 pounds gone after THE BIG FEAST!
You know when God works in your life. I had quit my job to have my surgery & had another job lined up once I could go back to work. However that job fell thru 5 days before I was scheduled to go to work. Another door was opened for me with a company that deals with Complex Rehab Mobility & Seating. This company is phenomenal. On campus we are provided a gym with a personal trainer free of charge, as well as a healthy food cafe and a physician on site. I now have the other tools I need to follow me in my journey, to guarantee my success.
For those of you who may be suffering from mobility issues or know someone who is, please feel free to contact me. It would be my honor to assist you in regaining your freedom. I will do everything I can to help you become mobile once again. I walk with a cane/walker, so I can understand what you endure on a daily basis. I am here for you, should you need the help.
