Someone Help!

I cannot take any of my pills! I choke on them. I have tried crushing, and it makes me throw up (I have the worst gag reflux). I am only six days post op, and I need to be taking pain meds, and others..but just can't. It kills my chest after I shallow the pills..Anyone have this problem?
