Just Finished Pre-Op...

So, I just finished my pre-op appointment today. I must say, I don't think I have ever been so nervous before. I know it was just a pre-op appointment with some  blood taken, which is nothing by this point. But I think what has now made me the most nervous was when they were explaining that on the day before surgery they will give me a call to tell me what time to arrive at for the big day. The R.N. Was super nice and explained everything well, but that was the issue. She went on to explain that they do three surgeries a day, and that we should hope to be either the first, or second one to be done. Apparently it is quiet common for them just to cancel the third surgery, especially on a Friday (lucky me). So now, not only am I nervous about having this done, and this being my first time having to stay overnight in a hospital, where let's face it, nobody is ever REALLY comfortable with staying, I now have to worry about having the whole procedure canceled.. After I halve already requested the time off work.. As a young person who only holds a part time job until something better pops up after recovery, an extra month off just isn't possible.. And it's not like I can ask for my hours back (thank you retail), otherwise I'm taking hours from the other girls. ARGH!!!😩
