I'm getting a VSG!!!

I met with my surgeon yesterday. He explained that he didn't think the DS was a good option for me. After a great deal of discussion, Dr. Houston said that if were his daughter, he would strongly recommend that I get the VSG. I was really concerned because I had never heard of a VSG being success in people who are as big as I am. However, my doctor seemed confident, so I agreed and scheduled the surgery. After posting to the BMI over 50 board here on obesityhelp, I am feeling SO MUCH more confident in my decision. I know I've got it in me to succeed using the VSG as a tool. 

Surgery is scheduled for October 30th. This is really happening!
