Iron Infusions - 3 Treatments Scheduled

Had my consultation on yesterday with the Hematologist and have been scheduled for 3 Iron Infusion treatments. My first one is scheduled for this Friday 2/22; well that's if my insurance approves me having them. I was told to plan to be there for 1/2 a day and to make sure I have a driver. The following 2 appts. will be shorter; she said around 2 hours. After the treatments I will have lab work done to see if more treatments are necessary. I've got to get these levels up or else this will prolong my surgery even more.  Trying to stay positive!
