Reflection

It came to my attention that, like so many overweight people, I really shy away from the camera.  When I was looking through our photos for pictures to use as my "before" or my avatar pix, I had to look really hard to find pictures that I was actually "in".  It made me feel like the invisible member of my family.  I have become the person planning the menu, cooking the food, and arranging the table...who just happens to be somewhere else when the cameras are snapping, or at an angle where all that comes out is half my profile.  Pretty depressing reality, huh?!  Will that change as my weight goes down?  I don't know.  Will my great-grandchildren even know what I looked like? Maybe...
