hoping to get my life back

Hello my name is Ricardo and iam 37 yrs old, and iam 5'11 and weigh 480lbs. I am going thru the procedures and tests leading up to my operation. I wanted the lap band but my surgeon advised me to get the gastric bypass. I havent been big all of my life, I think i went thru a depression and when i woke up from it I had picked up alot of weight. Food and alcohol were my vices. So now iam trying to get my life and health back first and formost for myself and secondly my family. I know this is a life changing thing and iam ready, i just want to be healthy and not get out of breath so easy going up a few steps.
